With the passage of time Sarada Charan Dey College has stepped into 31st year of its existence. This journey has not at all been very smooth rather many odds had to be overcome to achieve the present position. During this period, the college has been able to get in touch with many learned faculty members and gather a lot from their knowledge and experience. The college also get the opportunity to achieve prosper and progress due to valuable inputs and advice from many stakeholders and most importantly with the blessings of the God.

The college is situated nearby National Highway-53 in a completely rural ambience. In the midst of eye-catching scenic beauty with all round greenery and scattered habitations, free from any hustle and bustle, the place is ideally suitable for an educational institution with proper teaching learning atmosphere. The college, although began its journey with Arts stream and later Commerce stream has been introduced along with Honours paper. Quality education is imparted through both the streams under the able and tireless guidance of the experienced and knowledgeable faculty members. A very cordial relationship is maintained between the teachers and the students and every effort is made to ensure all round development of the students, including their physical and mental development along with educational aspects in order to make them selfreliant and confident.

Being the Principal i/c of this College, I would like to convey my best wishes to the new comers who are going to be part of this institution. In order to provide the idea about the institution, College PROSPECTUS generally been published yearly. I hope and expect that the student will get clear picture about the college and able to maintain the glorious history of the institution under the ambit of the NEP-2020.
